Samsung Bada OS secret codes

Samsung has been developing the new Bada OS targeted at smartphones and feature phones. The first phone with Bada OS is the Wave GT-S8500.

As with Symbian S40/S60 and other mobile OS, Bada has a few codes to turn on/off options and show advanced information that is not shown otherwise.

*#0*# – Test LCD screen
*#0673# OR *#0289# – Melody test
*#0842# – Test vibration
*#526# – Wi-Fi test
*#0228# – Phone battery information
*#7465625# – Network lock status (if any)
*#197328640# – Service mode
*2767*3855# – Factory format

Use the last one with care, because it restores your phone completely, and the process cannot be stopped by pressing power key or anything similar.

    I have entered wifi & bluetooth codes.

    ” *#232337# ” —– BT RF Test mode –> after entering this code it says confirm to exit & i did but still the bluetooth is not turned on what to do plz help me?

    ” *#526# — Wi-Fi Manual MFG Test Mode –> I entered this code but i don’t know which one to select or not among the 5 options available. plz help me get my wifi & bluetooth setting on.

    *2767*3855# — its a factory reset code ….. Use it with caution after removing sim and backing up contacts ,data.

    *#197328640# –This code can be used to enter into Service mode. You can run various tests and change settings in the service mode.

    *#0228# –This code can be used to get detailed information about phone battery.

    *#7465625# —This code can be used to check the status of Sim Lock and Network Lock.

    Codes to get Firmware version information:

    *#4986*2650468# – SW Version, HW Version, MP, RF Cal Date, CSC Version, CSC Model Spec, FFS Version, RC2 Version

    *#1234# – SW Version and CSC Version

    *#1111# – FTA SW Version

    *#2222# – FTA HW Version

    Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Test Codes:

    *#526# – Wi-Fi Manual MFG Test Mode
