Well, why would you buy a cheap non-Macbook with worse hardware and production if you can afford a Macbook which is usually very long lasting and has great software, some people also love its design. I disagree with you as well. Ich stimme mit Ihnen als gut. Ubuntu isn't made for only cheap Windows-based laptops. Ubuntu ist nicht nur billig aus Windows-basierte Laptops. It's as much royal as OSX or Vista and so there is no harm or stupidity in trying it out on a Macbook. Es ist so viel wie königliche OSX oder Vista und so gibt es keine Schäden oder Dummheit versuchen, es auf ein MacBook.

Nowhere in his comment does he mention that he was “unsatisfied with OS X”. Nirgendwo in seinem Kommentar erwähnt er, dass er "mit OS X unzufrieden".
There is no rule which says Ubuntu cannot/should not be installed on a Mac. Es gibt keine Regel, die sagt cant Ubuntu / sollte nicht auf einem Mac installiert werden. 2) With an educational discount I get it for just under the price of a standard laptop, but i do get a few bells and whistles (and of course the opportunity to use Mac OS on a machine less than 10 years old…) 2) Mit einer Bildungs-Rabatt ich es für knapp unter dem Preis eines Standard-Laptop, aber ich bekomme ein paar Glocken und pfeift (und natürlich auch die Möglichkeit, Mac OS auf einem Rechner weniger als 10 Jahre alt ... verwenden)
Two weeks went by as I thoroughly enjoyed Mac OS (For that brief period I thought it was the absolute best OS out there – a true short-term mac fanboy.) Once reality set in again and I got annoyed that I couldn't change certain things and that non-mac os specific software needed X11 which makes things run slow and ugly I decided to stick ubuntu on it. Zwei Wochen vergingen, als ich sehr genossen Mac OS (für kurze Zeit, dass ich dachte, es war der absolute beste Betriebssystem zu sein - eine echte kurzfristige mac fanboy.) Einmal in der Wirklichkeit wieder eingestellt und ich verärgert, dass ich nicht ändern kann bestimmte Dinge, und dass nicht-Mac OS X11-spezifische Software erforderlich, die Dinge laufen langsam und hässlich ich beschlossen zu bleiben ubuntu auf sie macht. I whiped mac OS off (though I could've dual booted) and put ubuntu on and never looked back. Ich whiped Mac OS ab (obwohl, ich könnte mit doppeltem gestartet werden) und legte auf ubuntu habe und nie bereut. Only thing to bear in mind is the new santa-rosa macbooks do have more issues and need ugly hacks (if you consider ndis-wrapper ugly) to make things work. when you install ubuntu. bei der Installation von Ubuntu. somethings dosnt work. somethings dosnt Arbeit. b/c the mac cd have the bootcamp drivers for windows (is only that windows will not provide you so mac is giving it for free). b / c der Mac-CD die Bootcamp-Treiber für Windows haben (ist nur, dass Windows nicht so mac Sie bieten wird, ist gibt es kostenlos). but for ubuntu some of the drivers comes with it but some of them like wireless or sound drivers and the major thing, right click you have to install them manually. aber für ubuntu einige der Fahrer kommt mit ihm aber einige von ihnen wie W-LAN oder Sound-Treiber und die großen, was mit der rechten Maustaste klicken Sie, um sie manuell zu installieren. just search online and you are able to do it.
