Barack Obama and John McCain were presidential candidates in the recently concluded election in USA, and much has been discussed about the pros and cons of them. The online world is pretty much sold out on Barack Obama, and believes he can bring (at least some) change. De online wereld is vrijwel uitverkocht op Barack Obama, en gelooft dat hij kan brengen (althans sommige) veranderen. John McCain has been ridiculed by the youth and tech-oriented people for his total ignorance of technology (he admitted to not knowing how to check emails). John McCain is belachelijk gemaakt door de jeugd-en tech-georiënteerde mensen voor zijn totale onwetendheid van de technologie (hij toegelaten tot de niet wetend hoe te controleren of e-mails). Barack Obama, on the other hand, has hired a top team of online marketers for his online presence. Barack Obama, aan de andere kant, heeft gehuurd een top team van online marketeers voor zijn online aanwezigheid. They have used everything from social media (Stumble Upon, Digg etc.) to Twitter and gaming ads effectively.
