ya everybody is concerned about Google and SEO. it drives us all crazy. who doesn’t when it means popularity and could lead to generation of income. that’s why we always see an updated algorithm
put forward by SE especially google. most changes are made to battle SE spamming and manipulation especially the one using automated software.

AshwiniYeah, I am stuck with my dialup – it has been acting strange, and I cannot even update my feed reader.
As for guest blogging, same problem here, and I am already losing out on studies a bit. Have to make up for it, so I am sorry to refuse the offer. Maybe I will take it up, after 1-2 months. Thanks for the offer!

And yes, there are quite a few teenage bloggers – and Thilak leads the pack with his impressive earnings($3000, wow!).

Btw, Smorty sucks. I did a couple, and still am not approved. I am ditching it – just isn’t worth the trouble.

Yes, I have a credit card. PayPal asks you credit card for a tie-in, meaning you can transfer funds between them.

And yes, Technorati just counts the no. of links from different blogs. The only good thing is you can see the incoming links. As for the bad thing, everything else about Technorati is!

If you’re interested, we can make it a debate and write posts, interlinking them. Are you game?

Ashwini, now that’s nice. Yes, I am in 10th grade. And can’t live without blogging(heck, not one day without my computer). I know that my regular readers are passive, because I see them in MyBlogLog widget. Thanks for the update on Google algorithm, but I am sure they don’t just sit there watching link-exchanges(unless they’re Technorati )

Ashwini, seems you’re first-time here.Thanks for commenting. When links are provided in a post, as a reference, Google gives value. But isolated links(like those in the sidebar), though carrying some value, are not as good as the other one. Again, as I mentioned in the post, Google’s technology is not completely understood even by the experts!
