MTV Roadies is a reality show on MTV India. The show was created by Raghu Ram. Raghu Ram describes Roadies as having travel, adventure, drama and a touch of voyeurism.

MTV Roadies selection procedure
Auditions to select roadies are held in major cities in India. After a group discussion, candidates are chosen for personal interview. The interviews are negative in attitude, to test attitude, tolerance and patience. In MTV Roadies 5.0, 13 roadies were selected. In the upcoming MTV Roadies 6.0, officially known as MTV Roadies Hell Down Under, 20 roadies will be selected.
