VLC Player (short for Videolan Client) is one of the most popular media players. VLC Player (kort voor VideoLAN Client) is een van de meest populaire mediaspelers. It is free, open-source and cross-platform compatible and plays most formats of video. Het is gratis, open source en cross-platform compatibel en speelt de meeste formaten van video. Perhaps the only drawback is its drab interface skin. Misschien wel het enige nadeel is zijn kleurloos interface huid.
VLC's official site and numerous enthusiasts are the saving grace, however. VLC's officiële site en de vele liefhebbers zijn de besparing genade echter. VLC has skins to customize the inteface. Note that the below screenshots do no justice to the skins – skins are (relatively) better-looking once installed. How to install VLC skins Hoe installeer ik VLC huiden
Installing skins on VLC is as easy as placing the skins into VLC skins directory (differs according to OS). Vellen over het installeren van VLC is net zo makkelijk als het plaatsen van de huid in VLC skins map (naar gelang van het OS).
- On Windows: (usually C:Program FilesVLCskins) Op Windows: (meestal C: Program FilesVLCskins)
- On Linux: ~/.share/vlc/skins2 Op Linux: ~ / .share/vlc/skins2
Once the skin is installed, open VLC settings and change interface from native to skins. Zodra de huid is geïnstalleerd, opent VLC instellingen en verandering interface uit autochtone te vellen. Then, right click anywhere and go to Interface>Choose Skin to select your skin. Dan, klik met de rechtermuisknop ergens en ga naar Interface> Kies de huid te selecteren uw huid. VLC needs to be restarted to change to skins mode. VLC moet opnieuw worden opgestart om naar skins modus. Sadly, VLC skins do not work on Mac OS X. Helaas VLC skins niet werken op Mac OS X.
