TextSnip website stores your code bits for free, and gives you links through which you can access the code from anywhere, any time.

TextSnip preserves the formatting, ensuring that your code stays the way it was meant to be. You can custom URLs of your choice for the link. No signup is required to use the service, though signing up for an account gives you one place from where you can manage all your code snips.

TextSnip will be useful in situations where normal methods destroy the code – when sending emails, IM etc. Note that getting a custom URL requires you to visit a different page (links are given below).
