Filewin is a front end for searching on the internet to find files any specific type. You can specify a few words and the filetype. FileWin can find the usual downloadable files – torrents, MP3, video, ebooks etc. Filewin is powered by a custom Google search, so you can be assured of relevant results.
When you search for something, Filewin also shows the search query it used – so you can learn to search directly with Google using the complex commands if you like to.
You have to enter search text and file extension, and Filewin would then return search results. For example, (in the screenshot above) I searched for Radiohead with filetype as mp3, and it returned pages which had links to mp3 files of Radiohead’s albums.
