More than a week after Vairāk nekā nedēļu pēc reporting about Google Analytics' redesign ziņot par Google Analytics pārprojektēšana , my Analytics account has finally switched over. Mana Analytics kontā beidzot ir mainīta. Joy at last! Prieks beidzot!
I had mentioned in that post that, if all the hype surrounding the redesign were to be true, Google Analytics would finally be a stand-out in the crowd of site statistics services. Man bija minēts šajā amatā, ka, ja visiem viss ap redizains bija taisnība, Google Analytics beidzot be-izceļas pūlī vietnes statistikas dienestiem.
The newly designed interface was available to users who signed up after it was unveiled. Jaunā dizaina saskarne ir pieejama lietotājiem, kas pierakstījies pēc tam, kad tika paziņots. Loyal customers(that's you and me) had to wait for some time. Pastāvīgajiem klientiem (ka tu un es) bija jāgaida kādu laiku.
Today, when I logged onto the account, I was presented with this screen: Šodien, kad es pieteicies uz kontu, es iepazīstināja ar šo ekrānu:
Instead of the regular “View Reports” link on the panel, I found a “View Reports Beta” link. Vietā regulāri "View Reports" saite uz paneļa, es atklāju "View Reports Beta" link.
After putting the new interface through its paces, I can say that it is much better than the previous design. Pēc nodošanas jauno interfeisu ar tās tempus, es varu teikt, ka tas ir daudz labāk nekā iepriekšējo dizainu. There are no 4-box maps, with nothing but graphics, like the previous design. Nav 4-box kartes, ar nekas, bet grafikas, kā iepriekšējā dizainā.
The new design sports widgets, which can be dragged around and repositioned. Jauns dizains sporta preces, ko var vilkt ap un pārlikta. Also, most of the graphs are accompanied by textual information, in case you don't “get it”. Arī lielākā daļa no diagrammas ir kopā ar tekstuālo informāciju, ja jums nav "get it".
That, to me, is the killer. Tas, kas man ir slepkava. The old style of all-graphics, web 2.0 site just didn't cut it. Vecais stils visu grafiku, web 2.0 vietā vienkārši nav samazināt to. Now, thanks to a more usable design, Google Analytics is better and badder than ever. Tagad, pateicoties vairāk izmantot dizainu, Google Analytics ir labāka un badder nekā jebkad agrāk. Time for me to ditch all other services Laiks man ir grāvis ar citiem pakalpojumiem
