Ever since Apple came out with the Macbook Air ultraportable notebook, competitiors have tried to mimic Macbook Air in terms of size, weight and features (in comparable form factors). Lenovo’s X300, Toshiba’s R500 etc. were some of them.
Checking out Toshiba’s Portege R500, the form factor, flexibility(literally) and weight(1.7 kg pounds) of the ultraportable are impressive. The flexibility of R500 is incredible, if the official video on YouTube is to be believed.

Shortly after our review of the free IZArc archival tool, Aseem asked whether there was a portable version that does something similar to IZArc.
In fact, there is a portable version of IZArc itself. It is called IZArc2Go. The clunky name apart, it is similar to IZArc in all aspects. Most features of IZArc have been integrated to IZArc2Go too. Perhaps the only features that are missing in the portable version is Explorer shell integration and association of file types (both of which requires registry entries which cannot be done by a portable app).

Napster founder Shawn Fanning founded Rupture, a social-networking gaming company (startup). Little did he know that his startup would be brought over by Electronic Arts, a popular game studio. He will be working at Electronic Arts, which has bought Rupture for USD 30 million.
Rupture’s first product was a social network for players of the online video game World of Warcraft, but it only came out with a beta version and kept delaying its public launch.

I realized that this was a big mistake because the readership was limited. So, I decided to shift niche slightly and focus on internet and computer tips, and move away from blogging tips.
