Linus Torvalds, founder and chief-programmer of Linux, has lashed out at Microsoft, after Microsoft’s claims that Linux violated some 235 patents that they hold.
Microsoft’s claims were that the free, open-source software, including Linux, violates 235 patents owned by Microsoft.
Linus Torvalds made up his mind to speak out to his heart’s content, against the “boss”, Microsoft.
Linus Torvalds reportedly told that there is a better chance that Microsoft violates a good many more patents than Linux OSes do.

More than a week after reporting about Google Analytics’ redesign, my Analytics account has finally switched over. Joy at last!
I had mentioned in that post that, if all the hype surrounding the redesign were to be true, Google Analytics would finally be a stand-out in the crowd of site statistics services.
The newly designed interface was available to users who signed up after it was unveiled. Loyal customers(that’s you and me) had to wait for some time.

ReviewSaurus is a tech blog, authored by Mayank, with special focus on free software-related stuff. Notice that I say “special focus” - that’s because it is pretty much a write-it-all blog.
Design
The first thing that strikes me is its abnormal design. He uses the BloggingPro theme by DesignDisease, which is an acceptable theme. However, he has muddled it up a bit, by adding widgets and extra designs in an ad-hoc manner. This induces the reader to think that it is spammy and unprofessional.

Sony, manufacturers of the legendary PlayStation range of consoles, forecasts a loss of over US$413 million, in Sony’s console game division this year.
Their recovery from these huge losses are not expected any time soon. More specifically, the profits will start coming in for Sony only after the PlayStation3 is put into widespread use and games are sold in large numbers.
Earlier this week, Sony had reported operating losses for the first quarter of 2007. Bulk of this loss was caused by PS3.

Denmark, a world leader in wind energy production and consumption, has built the world’s largest off-shore wind park in the North Sea. They aim to produce “at least” 75% of their total electricity needs from wind power by 2025.
Located at Horn’s Reef wind farm in the port of Esbjerg, the huge turbines, 80 in number, rotate high in the sky. The facility is expected to produce 160 megawatts of electricity - that’s enough power for 150,000 homes for one year.
