I’m leaning towards this way of thinking as well. At first I loved the idea of making money by blogging (Something I enjoy), but over time I realised that it was the blogging, not the money, that I really enjoyed. I’m stripping out ads for the time being as well.

@Ashwini: Yes, you shouldn’t stick ads everywhere from word go….It will cause a bad impression. See Michael’s review, he says its nice to see a site with no ads. That says a lot
