MergePDF is a website that enables you to join PDF files online for free, quickly. This can be particularly helpful when you do not have a professional PDF authoring software and need to just merge a couple of files.

I looked up for such a service recently when I had a computer with no PDF software, and had to merge PDFs urgently. Being a free service which requires server infrastructure and bandwidth, MergePDF has some restrictions on usage:

  • Maximum number of input files is 10
  • Individual file size limit is 5 MB
  • All uploaded files are removed after the merge pdf process has finished.

However, this should be enough for most quick uses, and is a lot more easier than trying to find a free desktop software to do the job.
