Just a quick note to tell you all that I've finally managed to get my modem to work in Ubuntu Hardy Heron, and I'm alive and kicking on Linux now. same happened with me…when i was not able to switch to linux just because my utstar adsl modem does not work with linux…but now i have a netgear adsl modem…will be soon having linux on my machine pats notika ar mani ..., kad es nespēja pāriet uz Linux tikai tāpēc, ka mana utstar ADSL modemu nedarbojas ar Linux ... bet tagad man ir netgear ADSL modemu ... būs drīz ņemot Linux par manu mašīnu

I've been contemplating dual booting with Ubuntu since sometime now but haven't been able to do it for the fact that I'm tied up with many things and ofcourse, procrastination. Esmu bijis iecer dual booting ar Ubuntu, jo dažreiz pat tagad, bet nav bijusi iespēja to darīt, ievērojot faktu, ka es esmu saistīta ar daudzām lietām un ofcourse, atlikšana.
But I will eventually install Ubuntu and hence I'll bookmark all your linux related posts which could come as a handy reference in future. Bet es galu galā instalēt Ubuntu un tādējādi I'll grāmatzīme visiem jūsu Linux saistītus amatus, kas varētu nākt par parocīgu atsauce nākotnē.
I too had installed Ubuntu few days back and also managed to configure TATA indicom on it. Es pārāk bija instalēta Ubuntu dažas dienas atpakaļ, kā arī izdevās konfigur Tata indicom par to. Its really cool working on it, but the support for applications need to be more, only then it can become more popular. But I have to slightly disagree with you on hanged apps. Bet man ir nedaudz nepiekrītu ar Jums par hanged progr. I did have firefox getting hang many times on Ubuntu, not sure what was the real cause. Es tā ir Firefox kļūst pakarināt daudzas reizes par Ubuntu, kas nav pārliecināti, kāda ir reālā iemeslu.

after breaking my head for configuring the display on Ubuntu Hardy, and multiple re-installation I came back to Windows again. Pēc sasišanas manu galvu konfigurēšana displeja par Ubuntu Hardy, un daudzi atkārtoti uzstādīšana Es atgriezos Windows vēlreiz.
