John Chow has been penalised heavily by Google, for link-bombing. John Chow is zwaar gestraft door Google, voor de link-bombardementen. He is now far behind the first page for both “John Chow” and “Make Money Online” search terms. Hij is nu ver achter op de eerste pagina voor zowel "John Chow" en "Make Money Online" zoektermen. There's also reports that Google will drop his PageRank from the 6 to 4, in the next PR update. Er zijn ook berichten dat Google PageRank daling zijn van de 6 tot en met 4, in de komende PR-update.
For several months now, John Chow had been aggressively pursuing a linkback campaign, where he would link to any blogger who writes a review of his blog, and links to him with the link text “Make Money Online”. Voor een aantal maanden nu, John Chow was agressief, die een LinkBack campagne, waar hij zou koppelen aan elke blogger die schrijft een recensie van zijn blog, en links naar hem met de link tekst "Make Money Online".
Google has been known for frowning on paid links, paid reviews and other forms of link fraud or “gaming the system”. Google is bekend om frowning op betaalde links, betaalde reviews en andere vormen van fraude of link "gaming het systeem". Now, John Chow is on some 7 th page of results for “John Chow” on Google. Nu, John Chow is op ongeveer 7 th pagina met resultaten voor "John Chow" op Google. This is in addition for penalty for the result “Make Money Online”. Dit is in aanvulling voor straf voor het resultaat "Make Money Online".
Apparently, folks at Googleplex were not very pleased with the linkback campaign. Blijkbaar, mensen op Googleplex waren niet erg blij met de LinkBack campagne. They have, however maintained that they do not rearrange the results manually to punish such fraud. Ze hebben echter aangevoerd dat zij niet opnieuw de resultaten handmatig te bestraffen dergelijke fraude. They claim that their algorithm is smart enough to penalise such sites automatically. Zij beweren dat hun algoritme is slim genoeg om te bestraffen dergelijke sites automatisch.
However, this incident of JC makes me think twice about such claims. Echter, dit incident van JC maakt me wel twee keer nadenken over dergelijke claims.
Matt Cutts, the “voice of Google”, who was critical of Google's policies like placing their own services Picassa and Blogger ahead of WordPress or Flickr in search results. Matt Cutts, de "stem van Google ', die kritisch het beleid van Google, zoals het plaatsen van hun eigen diensten Picassa en Blogger voor WordPress of Flickr in de zoekresultaten. Echter, met deze stap, Google is gegaan weer op al deze beloften. I personally agree with the dropping of JC on both searches, but this is more because of his evil methods. Persoonlijk ga ik akkoord met de afschaffing van JC op beide zoekopdrachten, maar dit is meer omdat hij kwaad methoden.
Which makes me wonder – does Google aspire to be the next Technorati? Die maakt me wonder - heeft Google streven naar de volgende Technorati? Remember, Technorati attained notoriety for rearranging their “Top 100″ list of blogs, favouring some bloggers, while manually removing some others. Vergeet niet, Technorati bereikt bekendheid voor het herschikken van hun "Top 100" lijst van blogs, waarbij een aantal bloggers, terwijl handmatig verwijderen van sommige anderen. John Chow was at the receiving end of that too! John Chow was op het ontvangende einde van dat ook! It was even criticised by the A-listers. Het was ook bekritiseerd door de A-listers.
Now, Google, the search engine that we all love, seems to be heading the “Technorati way”. Nu, Google, de zoekmachine die we allemaal de liefde, lijkt de rubriek "Technorati manier".

I personally think that JC has crossed the line. Ik persoonlijk denk dat JC heeft de lijn. His blog has become out of focus because of his make money online post campaign. Zijn blog is geworden van de aandacht vanwege zijn make money online bericht campagne.

John Chow got almost 3500 back links on google. John Chow heeft bijna 3500 terug links op google. I was thinking, if it was blogspot site or hosted on google, they might have not taken it as a serious matter. Ik zat te denken, al was het blogspot site of gehost op Google, kunnen zij niet hebben genomen als een ernstige zaak.
I also know, Google is very concerned about bad neighbourhood. Ik weet ook van Google is zeer bezorgd over de slechte buurt. So stop One minute to who you are going to link… Dus stop Een minuut aan wie je denkt te koppelen ...

@BB and Linu: Both of you seem to hate JC. @ VO en Linu: Jullie lijken te haten JC. But the fact is, unlike many other A-listers, he gets things done quickly, and has proof. Maar het feit is, in tegenstelling tot vele andere A-listers, hij krijgt dingen gedaan snel, en heeft het bewijs. That's just about the only thing I like about him. Dat is zo ongeveer het enige wat ik graag over hem.
But he's very arrogant – look for his post which comments on a blog who said he was big bad blog and Problogger was the third little site – JC claims he could've taken down PB, which is not very plausible, considering that D.Rowse's methods are more legit than JC's. Maar hij is erg arrogant - kijk voor zijn post die reacties op een blog die zei dat hij was big slecht blog en Problogger was de derde weinig site - JC beweert hij kon hebben genomen vaststelling PB, dat is niet erg aannemelijk, gezien het feit dat D. laderen 's methoden zijn meer dan legit JC's.

Darren may saturate the net, but his methods are legit, and he presents the info in a readable manner. Darren mei verzadigd het net, maar zijn methoden zijn legit, en hij presenteert de informatie op een leesbare manier. Yes, I like playing with things. Ja, Ik ben dol op het spelen met de dingen. The problem is, they're too bland, or too flashy. Het probleem is, zijn ze te zacht, of al te flashy. I can't find any which are in between. Ik kan me niet vinden, die in tussen.
But I'll probably stay with this theme – it has 3col, right sidebars, readability etc. That's what I look for, in a theme. Maar ik kom waarschijnlijk verblijf met dit thema - het heeft 3col, rechts sidebars, leesbaarheid, enz. Dat is wat ik zoek in een thema.

As far is technorati is concerned , they have removed ~20 sites from their top 100 many of which are templates sites as if you have a template offering site, your blog will comparitively have a higher authority Wat is technorati betreft, hebben ze verwijderd ~ 20 locaties van hun top-100, waarvan er vele templates sites als u een sjabloon die site uw blog relatief een hogere autoriteit
The case with JC is “make money online”.He made everyone link to him using these keyword and now he's out but it doesn't looks like he's affected Het geval met JC is "make money online." Hij maakte iedereen link naar hem met behulp van deze zoekwoorden en nu is hij uit, maar het is niet looks like he's getroffen

Unfortunately, I'd have to disagree with you – Google thought up world domination some time back, and even now, they're are only one step into the evil world. Helaas, ik heb het niet eens met u - Google bedacht wereld dominatie enige tijd terug, en zelfs nu, ze zijn slechts een stap in de boze wereld. They're still doing good things like freeing up FeedBurner Pro services, adding robots.txt to Blogspot blogs etc. Ze zijn nog steeds goede dingen doen, zoals het vrijmaken van FeedBurner Pro diensten, het toevoegen van het robots.txt-Blogspot blogs, enz.

Evil is different from greed. Kwaad is verschillend van hebzucht. Google may not be greedy but they are turning evil with online world domination plans. Google kan niet worden inhalig, maar ze draaien kwaad met online wereld dominatie plannen.
By not encouraging competition (they just buy the competition off). Door niet bemoedigend concurrentie (ze kopen gewoon de wedstrijd uit). Creating monopoly is a bad business tactics take the example of standard oil ! Het creëren van een monopolie is een slechte tactiek bedrijfsleven nemen het voorbeeld van Standard Oil!

Yeah, I agree with almost all you say – but I consider Google to be greedy too….After all, they're not acquiring YouTube etc. for charity – in long term, they envision earning big bucks from them. Ja, ik ben het eens met bijna alles wat je zeggen - maar ik vind Google te inhalig te .... Immers, ze zijn niet overnemende YouTube enz. voor liefdadigheid - op lange termijn hebben zij Envision big bucks te verdienen zijn.
I think that Google, as the most popular search engine, has a responsibility to keep their results accurate. Ik denk dat Google, de populairste zoekmachine, een verantwoordelijkheid heeft om de resultaten correct zijn. It sure sounds like they're editing the results manually. Het lijkt zeker dat ze het bewerken van de resultaten handmatig. On the plus side, they do it a lot less than Yahoo (who accepts payment for results editing I believe).
