John Chow has been penalised heavily by Google, for link-bombing. John Chow hat sich stark von Google bestraft, für Link-Bombardements. He is now far behind the first page for both “John Chow” and “Make Money Online” search terms. Er ist jetzt weit hinter der ersten Seite für "John Chow" und "Make Money Online" Suchbegriffe. For several months now, John Chow had been aggressively pursuing a linkback campaign, where he would link to any blogger who writes a review of his blog, and links to him with the link text “Make Money Online”. Apparently, folks at Googleplex were not very pleased with the linkback campaign. Offenbar waren Leute von Googleplex nicht sehr zufrieden mit dem Linkback Kampagne zufrieden. They have, however maintained that they do not rearrange the results manually to punish such fraud. They had been something of a revoulutionary in the corporate sector, with the motto “Don't be evil” and the like. Sie waren so etwas wie ein Revoulutionary im Unternehmenssektor, unter dem Motto "Don't be evil" und dergleichen. However, with this step, Google has gone back on all such promises. Doch mit diesem Schritt hat Google wieder auf all diese Versprechungen gegangen. I personally agree with the dropping of JC on both searches, but this is more because of his evil methods. Ich persönlich stimme mit dem Abwurf von JC auf beiden Durchsuchungen, aber das ist mehr, weil er das Böse Methoden.
Which makes me wonder – does Google aspire to be the next Technorati? Das lässt mich nachdenklich - Google streben die nächste Technorati? Remember, Technorati attained notoriety for rearranging their “Top 100″ list of blogs, favouring some bloggers, while manually removing some others. I was thinking, if it was blogspot site or hosted on google, they might have not taken it as a serious matter. Yes, I like playing with things. Ja, spiele ich gerne mit den Dingen. The problem is, they're too bland, or too flashy. Das Problem ist, sind sie zu fad, oder zu schrill. I can't find any which are in between. Ich finde keine, die dazwischen sind.
But I'll probably stay with this theme – it has 3col, right sidebars, readability etc. That's what I look for, in a theme. Aber ich werde wohl mit diesem Thema zu bleiben - es hat 3COL rechten Seitenleisten, Lesbarkeit usw. Das ist, was ich erwarte, in ein Thema.

Unfortunately, I'd have to disagree with you – Google thought up world domination some time back, and even now, they're are only one step into the evil world. Leider musste ich mit Ihnen einverstanden - Google dachte sich die Weltherrschaft einige Zeit zurück, und auch jetzt, sie sind nur ein Schritt in die böse Welt. They're still doing good things like freeing up FeedBurner Pro services, adding robots.txt to Blogspot blogs etc. Sie sind immer noch sie gute Dinge tun, wie die Freisetzung FeedBurner Pro und fügte hinzu "robots.txt" auf Blogspot-Blogs etc.

Yeah, I agree with almost all you say – but I consider Google to be greedy too….After all, they're not acquiring YouTube etc. for charity – in long term, they envision earning big bucks from them. Ja, ich stimme fast alles, was Sie sagen - aber ich halte Google zu gierig zu sein .... Schließlich sind sie nicht erwerben YouTube etc. für einen guten Zweck - in langfristig vorstellen, sie von ihnen eine Menge Geld verdienen.
I think that Google, as the most popular search engine, has a responsibility to keep their results accurate.
