When it comes to developing themes and plugins, you need the right tools to finish the job quickly and efficiently. Testing your themes and plugins can be a big head ache, as you have to reload the page every time, consuming bandwidth. You should have a wordpress folder in htdocs. Mali by ste mať wordpress zložku htdocs. Go to it, and open upwp-config-sample.php. You're done. Máte hotovo. Now, use the wordpress folder as you would on your webserver, and upload the plugins, themes etc. to test. I recommend doing this before attempting a manual install in your server ( if it doesn't have one-click installer). Great tutorial man. Veľké tutorial man. I've already set this up on my local PC and loaded contents from my hosted blog on to this.. You have to rename wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php Máte-li premenovať wp-config-sample.php na wp-config.php
BTW, I think LAMPP and XAMPP are one and the same, except L is for Linux and X is for XP. BTW, myslím, že lamppu a XAMPP sú jedno a to isté, s výnimkou L je pre Linux a X je pre XP.

Great tutorial! Veľké tutorial! I don't use XAMPP. Nechcem use XAMPP. I use NetServer, but still I have XAMPP in my PC in case I mess up with NetServer. Používam NetServer, ale napriek tomu mám XAMPP v mojom počítači v prípade som skaziť s NetServer.

I have set up WP on a live server before so I haven't miscalulated my ability to edit the config file, so any ideas what is missing? Great Tutorial Buddy . Veľké výučba Buddy. Currently i use EasyPHP for this purpose . V súčasnej dobe používam EasyPHP pre tento účel. It is a cool way to test your themes and plugins . Je to v pohode, ako si overiť svoje tém a pluginov.

Its nice for show-off and ego boosting, but for now I find this method the easiest – easier than EasyPHP/direct method. Great post, I've often wondered why more bloggers don't install locally to do testing, theme modifications, etc. I use WAMP and my only problem is finding the time to do more work/testing on my local install so that I can change my live site! Great post, som často premýšľal, prečo viac blogov neinštalujte na mieste na to testovanie, tému zmien, atď používam WAMP a mojím jediným problémom je nájsť čas urobiť viac práce / testovanie na môj lokálnu inštaláciu, takže môžem zmeniť svoj live site!

Nice tut..Sumesh. Nice tut .. Sumesh. I came across this one as I was looking for a more specific solution. Som narazil na tohle, keď som hľadal podrobnejšie riešenie. I was able to do everything you have mentioned in the tut and wordpress was installed, up and running the first time. Bol som schopný urobiť všetko, čo máte uvedené v tut a wordpress bola inštalovaná, a prevádzku po prvýkrát. But once I shutdown the pc and restart it a while later, i was unable to logon via a login page i had bookmarked. Ale akonáhle som vypnutie pc a reštartujte ho o chvíľu neskôr, som bol schopný sa prihlásiť cez prihlasovaciu stránku aj so záložkou.

Are you sure you did not turn off any services?(Start>Run>msconfig, and click enter, you'll get a window, click Services tab, and enable all services, restart and try again) Ste si istí, že ani vypnúť všetky služby? (Štart> Spustiť> msconfig a kliknite na tlačidlo vstúpiť, bude sa vám zobrazí okno, kliknite na kartu Služby a povoľte všetky služby, reštartujte a skúste to znova)

I have gotten as far as installing everything as instructed. Som sa dostal až k inštalácii všetko podľa pokynov.
It wasn't as hard as expected as I'm no tech geek. Nebolo to tak ťažké, ako sa predpokladalo, a ja nie som geek tech. But now I'm stuck. Ale teraz som prilepené. How can I upload new themes and stuff via FTP? Ako môžem nahrať nové témy a tak cez FTP? I don't know the path and the user and password I need to use here. Neviem, cestu a používateľského mena a hesla musím použiť tu.
I'm only familiar with FTP and have no idea on how to use mySQL to upload stuff. Som len oboznámený s FTP a nemajú predstavu o tom, ako používať mySQL vkladať veci. Could you please point me in the right direction? Mohli by ste mi, prosím, miesto správnym smerom? Once I can figure out the right path with FTP (I use SmartFTP) I will be fine. Raz som si prísť na správnu cestu s FTP (I use SmartFTP), budem v poriadku.

@Monika: Its all easy, and you'd feel it funny that it has been under your nose all the while. @ Monika: Jeho vôbec jednoduché, a vy by ste pocit, že legrační, že to bolo pod nosom po celú dobu. Assuming that your wordpress folder is x(usually C)x:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content is the folder which contains plugins, themes and uploads folders. We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the wordpress database. I've been over the instructions with a fine tooth comb, xammp is running (I'm using the full version if that makes a difference), I can get into MySQL etc.etc. Bol som v návode s jemnou zub hrebeňa, xammp beží (I'm using the plnú verziu, že ak je rozdiel), môžem dostať do MySQL etc.etc.

@Rennie: The instructions here are for the smallest XAMPP package, that is XAMPPlite. @ Rennie: usmernenia sú tu pre najmenšie balík XAMPP, ktorý je XAMPPlite. Hence, these steps may not work for the full version of XAMPP. Preto môže tento postup nefunguje na plnú verziu XAMPP.

Sometimes its take a long time until the sites is open. Niekedy trvať dlho, kým miesta je otvorený.
Would you tell why this happen? Mohli by ste povedať, prečo sa to stalo?
If you have external scripts (ads, for example) in the template, each page load would be delayed because of that. Ak máte externé skripty (reklamy, napríklad) v šablóne, každej načítaní stránky by bolo odložené kvôli tomu.

If you have got Ak máte http://bsd/wordpress http://bsd/wordpress working, then you only have to move the WordPress files to the root (instead of in a folder called wordpress/) to get it running the way you want. práce, potom by museli presunúť WordPress súbory do koreňového adresára (namiesto do priečinka s názvom wordpress /), aby si to beží tak, ako chcete.
