Go to the directory named .gimp-2.x (where 2.x is version number of GIMP you are using). Prejdite do adresára s názvom. Gimp-2.x (kde 2.x je číslo verzie GIMP, ktorý používate). Within that folder, there are subfolders, one of which is brushes . Do tejto zložky existuje podzloľiek, z ktorých jeden je kefy. Drop your brushes to that folder. Odhoďte kefy na túto zložku.

I have a bunch of brushes moved into my GIMP brushes folder, but I can't figure out how to access them in the application itself. I have mentioned the steps required to download GIMP brushes very clearly. Som sa zmienil o kroky k stiahnutiu GIMP brushes veľmi jasne.
I keep copying the location of my brush file in the extraction wizard like I'm supposed to…but for some reason it won't work! Pořád kopírovanie umiestnenie môj kefka súbor v ťažbe sprievodca, ako som to ... ale z nejakého dôvodu nebude fungovať! What am I doing wrong? Čo robím zle?
I have extracted the brushes to the Brushes folder and just started up Gimp, but the brushes are not there. Mám vyextrahujú na kefy Kefy na priečinok a práve spustený Gimp, ale kefy nie sú tam. @Emily: You have to place the extracted brush files (individual files, not folders) into the brushes folder. @ Emily: Musíte umiestniť extrahované súbory štetcom (jednotlivé súbory, nie zložky) do priečinka brushes.
How do you install them in Ubuntu???? Ako nainštalovať v Ubuntu?? As Gimp is the default image editor in Ubuntu I really don't understand why you explain how to install brushes in Windows and not in Linux. Ako Gimp je predvolený editor obrázkov v Ubuntu som naozaj nerozumiem, prečo by ste vysvetliť, ako nainštalovať kefy vo Windows a nie v Linuxe. Please help Prosím pomôžte
In Ubuntu, go to /usr/share/gimp/2.0/brushes and add them there. V Ubuntu, prejdite do adresára / usr/share/gimp/2.0/brushes a pridať je tam.
The 2.0 will change according to your version, I just use the one that's in the repositories. Na 2,0 sa bude meniť v závislosti na vašej verzii, som použiť ten, ktorý je v repozitára.

@Pinkeh if u operate windows it should unzip these files automatically or if not u need to download winrar or easyzip it will guide u through it at that point to unzip these files @ Pinkeh ak u okna, že by malo fungovať Rozbaľte tieto súbory automaticky alebo ak nie sú u potreba stiahnuť WinRAR alebo easyzip ju bude riadiť a jeho prostredníctvom v tomto bode, aby tieto súbory dekomprimovať

I'm trying to extract the files in Windows Vista. Já jsem sa snažia extrahovať súbory vo Windows Vista. I looked for the file path to extract the brushes into. Pozrela som sa na cestu k súboru vylúhujeme do kefy. I don't have a Document and Settings folder. Nemám dokument and Settings. I found the brushes folder, under my computer name, and then under the gimp version that is directly under that. Našiel som kefy zložky, podľa mojej meno počítača, a potom pod gimp verziu, ktorá je priamo na to. But it doesn't give me a path to put in to extract it. Ale to nedáva mi cestu, aby sa do rozbalíte. Please help Prosím pomôžte

Mandi, you can get fonts for GIMP by downloading them and installing on the system. Mandy, môžete získať fonty pre GIMP prevzatím a inštaláciou v systéme. You do not need a plugin to get fonts. Nemusíte plugin dostať fonty.
I defintatly do NOT know what to do. Defintatly Nechcem know what to do. I dont have a Document and Settings folder either. I dont mať dokument and Settings buď. I cant even find a brushes folder for heavens sake. I cant i nájsť kefy zložku nebesá záujmu. So yeah…plaease help Tak jo ... plaease pomoci
Sara, if you use Windows Vista, you might be able to find the file under your profile folder (the one that is the parent folder for your documents, pictures etc). Sara, ak používate Windows Vista, mali by ste byť schopní nájsť súbor podľa vašej priečinku profilu (ten, ktorý je nadradený priečinok pre vaše dokumenty, obrázky, atď). That's where I found my GIMP folder + brushes. To je miesto, kde som našiel môj GIMP zložky + štetca. In explorer – it's under the Desktop icon. V explorer - je to pod Desktop ikonu. Hope this helps! hi could you please amend my previous comment – it should say YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIND THE FILE UNDER YOUR profile FOLDER. ahoj mohol by ste mi prosím zmeniť môj predchádzajúci komentár - to by mal povedať, žes mohol nájsť súbor pod vašim profilom FOLDER. the word missing is profile as I had put the word in brackets and it doesnt show. slovo chýba, je profil, ako som dal slovo v zátvorke a to doesnt show. many thanks! I've edited the previous comment to say what you wanted it to – thanks for the clarification regarding Windows Vista, I will update the post soon (been a long time since I used Vista). Som upravil predchádzajúci komentár povedať, čo si želal, aby - vďaka za upresnenie, pokiaľ ide o Windows Vista, budu aktualizovať post čoskoro (už dlho, pretože som použil Vista).
I have unzipped the files into the brushes folder and they show in my brushes window, but they are all black and white, no colour, why is that? Mám unzipped súbory do zložky brushes a ukázať, že v mojom kefy okna, ale tie sú všetky čierne a biele, bez farby, prečo je to?
You can change your background/foreground colors to use the brushes in color. Môžete zmeniť svoje pozadia / popredia farby používať kefky v farbe. Only the previews are in black and white (unless the brush is specifically designed to be B&W). Náhľady sú len v čiernej a bielej (ak kefka je špeciálne navrhnutý tak, aby B & W).
changing the background/foreground colours makes no difference… the brushes are all black and white, not just in the previews… they actually apply as black and white. meniace sa pozadia / popredia farbách nerobí rozdiel ... kief sú všetky čierne a biele, a to nielen v predpremiére ... že skutočne použije ako čierna a biela. Does anyone else experience this? Má niekto iný túto skúsenosť?
I have a MacBook with OS X version 10.5.7, and I cannot figure out where to download the brushes to. Mám MacBook s OS X verzie 10.5.7, a nedá sa zistiť, kde k stiahnutiu na kefy. I have them on my computer, in my specific gimp folder, but I cannot access my brushes folder -even if I go to the finder=>go=>go to folder and search “~/gimp2.6.4/brushes”. Mám je na mojom počítači, v mojom gimp konkrétny priečinok, ale nemôžem dostať do svojho kefy zložku-i když jdu na nálezcu => ísť => ísť do priečinka a hľadania "~ / gimp2.6.4/brushes". Help please. Pomôžte prosím.
