Installing GIMP plugins, brushes and gradients is one of the best ways to make GIMP more powerful. i had download the Gimp brushes, and im using gimp 2.4.7 i bija lejupielādēt dekoratīva aukliņa sukas, un IP, izmantojot GIMP 2.4.7

I keep copying the location of my brush file in the extraction wizard like I'm supposed to…but for some reason it won't work! I have extracted the brushes to the Brushes folder and just started up Gimp, but the brushes are not there. Man ir ekstrahēts ar sukām uz Sukas mapi un tikko sākusi dekoratīva aukliņa, bet sukas nav tur. All the brushes are in folders, must they be out of the folders to work? Visi sukas ir mapēs, ir tos no mapes strādāt?

How do you install them in Ubuntu???? Kā jūs instalēt tos Ubuntu?? As Gimp is the default image editor in Ubuntu I really don't understand why you explain how to install brushes in Windows and not in Linux. Kā dekoratīva aukliņa ir noklusējuma attēlu redaktors in Ubuntu es tiešām nesaprotu, kāpēc jūs izskaidrotu to, kā uzstādīt sukas Windows, nevis Linux. Please help Please help
In Ubuntu, go to /usr/share/gimp/2.0/brushes and add them there. In Ubuntu, iet uz / usr/share/gimp/2.0/brushes un pievienot tos tur.
The 2.0 will change according to your version, I just use the one that's in the repositories. Par 2,0 mainīsies atbilstoši jūsu versija, es tikai izmantot vienu, kas ir šajā krātuvēs.

I'm trying to extract the files in Windows Vista. Es mēģina iegūt failus Windows Vista. I looked for the file path to extract the brushes into. I meklēja failu ceļš uz ekstrahētu sukas into. I don't have a Document and Settings folder. Man nav dokuments and Settings mapi. I found the brushes folder, under my computer name, and then under the gimp version that is directly under that. I atradusi sukas mape, ar mana datora vārdu, un pēc tam saskaņā ar GIMP versija, ka tieši ar šo. But it doesn't give me a path to put in to extract it. Bet tas nedod man ceļu, lai nodrošinātu, lai iegūtu to. Please help Please help

Mandi, you can get fonts for GIMP by downloading them and installing on the system. Mandi, varat saņemt fontiem par GIMP, lejupielādējot tos un instalēšanu par šo sistēmu. You do not need a plugin to get fonts. Jums nav nepieciešams spraudni, lai saņemtu fontus.
I defintatly do NOT know what to do. I defintatly nezinu ko darīt. I dont have a Document and Settings folder either. Es dont ir dokuments and Settings mape vai nu. I cant even find a brushes folder for heavens sake. Es aprunāt pat atrast sukas mapi heavens dēļ. So yeah…plaease help So yeah ... plaease palīdzēt
Sara, if you use Windows Vista, you might be able to find the file under your profile folder (the one that is the parent folder for your documents, pictures etc). Sara, ja izmantojat Windows Vista, jums varētu atrast failu ar savu profilu mapi (tas, kas ir mātes mapi jūsu dokumenti, attēli utt.) That's where I found my GIMP folder + brushes. Tas ir, kur es atradu sava GIMP mapi + otas. In explorer – it's under the Desktop icon. In pētnieks - tas ir zem Desktop ikonu. Hope this helps! Hope this helps!

hi could you please amend my previous comment – it should say YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIND THE FILE UNDER YOUR profile FOLDER. hi varētu lūdzu grozīt manu iepriekšējo komentāru - tas būtu teikt, Jūs, iespējams, varētu atrast FILE ATBILSTOŠI JŪSU profils FOLDER. the word missing is profile as I had put the word in brackets and it doesnt show. vārdu missing ir profils, kā man bija izvirzīti vārdu iekavās, un tā doesn't parādīt. many thanks! many thanks! ^_^ ^ _ ^

I have unzipped the files into the brushes folder and they show in my brushes window, but they are all black and white, no colour, why is that? Man ir unzipped failus uz sukas mapi un tie norāda, ka manā sukas logs, bet tie visi ir melnbalti, bez krāsas, kāpēc ir tā, ka?
You can change your background/foreground colors to use the brushes in color. Varat mainīt fona / jaunām zināšanām krāsas izmantot sukas krāsu. Only the previews are in black and white (unless the brush is specifically designed to be B&W). Tikai priekšskatījumi ir melnbalts (ja vien suka ir īpaši, lai tā ir B & W).
changing the background/foreground colours makes no difference… the brushes are all black and white, not just in the previews… they actually apply as black and white. mainīt fona / jaunām zināšanām krāsas nav nozīmes ... to sukas visi ir melnbalti, ne tikai ar priekšskatījumi ... viņi faktiski piemēro, kā melnā un baltā krāsā. Does anyone else experience this? Vai kāds cits pieredze ir?
I have a MacBook with OS X version 10.5.7, and I cannot figure out where to download the brushes to. Man ir MacBook ar OS X versija 10.5.7, un es nesaprotu, kur lejupielādēt sukas to. I have them on my computer, in my specific gimp folder, but I cannot access my brushes folder -even if I go to the finder=>go=>go to folder and search “~/gimp2.6.4/brushes”.
