One of the much hyped “feature” in the recently released WordPress 2.3 is the Incoming links widget powered by Google BlogSearch, on the WordPress admin dashboard. Google BlogSearch is touted as being superior to Technorati (by many authority bloggers). Google Blogsearch wordt aangeprezen als zijnde superieur aan Technorati (door vele autoriteit bloggers). However, its weakness is evident – the links to self. Toch is zijn zwakte evident - de links naar zichzelf. Folks at Automattic thought that bringing Google BlogSearch would spruce up stuff, and it has obviously backfired. WARNING : Do not introduce any space into the file, before or after the end of the PHP code. WAARSCHUWING: voeren geen ruimte in de file, voor of na het einde van de PHP-code. This is something unrelated, but I was just wondering – are you aware that all the links in your blog are no-follow'd with the exception of the link in the logo and the links to other posts from within your posts? Dit is iets wat niets, maar ik vroeg me af - Bent u zich ervan bewust dat alle links in je blog niet zijn-follow'd, met uitzondering van de link in het logo en de links naar andere posten van in je berichten?
Sorry if this was done intentionally – I simply couldn't see why! Sorry als dit opzettelijk is gedaan - ik simpelweg niet kon zien waarom!
@Karthik: No, I did it intentionally. @ Karthik: Nee, ik heb het met opzet. My logic is this – if there are fewer links from a page, each link gets more link equity. Mijn logica is dit - als er minder links van een pagina, elke link krijgt link meer eigen vermogen. It may or may not be right – no harm in trying Het kan of kan niet worden rechts - geen kwaad om te proberen

Hey that's a nice tip. Hey dat is een leuke tip. I've not upgraded yet to 2.3 but I'll do it today and I'm sure I'll keep this post in mind while upgrading it Ik heb nog niet opgewaardeerd naar 2.3, maar ik doe het vandaag nog en ik weet zeker dat ik dit bericht in gedachten houden tijdens het upgraden
@Tipso: Thanks. @ Tipso: Thanks. I found the hack useful, so decided to share it with you. Ik vond de hack nuttig, dus besloot het met u delen. And upgrade to WP 2.3 if you like tags – otherwise, its not much different. En een upgrade naar WP 2.3 als je wilt tags - of anders, zijn niet veel anders.
Sumesh, There is no such problem. Sumesh, Er is geen probleem. The real stuff is that all backlink data is stored in a SQL string for temporary use, but sometimes it get clashes with alter link info by Technorati making it show other stuff which is just linking. Het echte spul is dat alle backlink gegevens worden opgeslagen in een SQL string voor tijdelijk gebruik, maar soms krijgen botst met wijzigen link info bij Technorati waardoor het ga andere dingen die net koppelen.
Anyways, nice tip and Technorati is far better than GBS. Anyways, leuke tip en Technorati is veel beter dan GBS.
