Have you ever wished to add emoticons to GMail? Heb je ooit wilde emoticons toevoegen aan Gmail? If so, here is a Greasemonkey script to add smilies/emoticons. Zo ja, is hier een Greasemonkey script toe te voegen smilies / emoticons.
GMail, to me, is still the best webmail. GMail, voor mij, is nog steeds de beste webmail. It has loads of features, a minimalist look, and most of all, is owned by Google. However, being the first to grace AJAX, GMail does miss some functionality. Echter, de eerste op de genade AJAX, GMail doet missen sommige functionaliteit. One of them is smileys/emoticons. Een van hen is smileys / emoticons. Whenever you type the text for emoticon, it is sent as those characters, rather than being converted. After you install the script, go to the Compose mode in GMail. Na de installatie van het script, ga dan naar de Nieuw-modus in Gmail. There will be a link called Emoticons! Er zal een link genaamd Emoticons! in the right hand side, near the “Check Spelling” link. in de rechterhand, in de buurt van de "Spelling controleren" link.
Once you click on it, you will be presented with a window that looks like this: Zodra u op het klikt, wordt u aangeboden met een venster dat er als volgt uitziet:
To add any smiley, just drag and drop it to the writing pane in Compose mode. Als u een smiley, gewoon slepen en neerzetten naar het schriftelijk ruit in Nieuw-modus.
Note: DO NOT drag the smiley to any place other than the writing pane, otherwise it will mess up the written stuff. Opmerking: NIET sleep de smiley naar een andere plaats dan het schrijven ruit, anders zal puinhoop op de schriftelijke stuff.
Note: This script is currently broken, because of the newer version of GMail. Opmerking: Dit script is momenteel gebroken, omdat de nieuwere versie van Gmail. I made a Firefox extension wich automaticaly replace text smiley with images. Ik maakte een Firefox-extensie die automatisch vervangen tekst smiley met beelden.

your script is not compatible with GMAIL's new interface version. je script is niet compatibel met Gmail's nieuwe interface versie.

@Rakesh: This script is not mine, and hence I cannot update the post until the author fixes it. @ Rakesh: Dit script is niet van mij, en dus kan ik niet bijwerken van de post tot de auteur probleem hiermee is opgelost. Also, I've already written a note at the bottom of the post stating that it is broken. Ook heb ik al geschreven een notitie aan de onderkant van het bericht staat dat hij is gebroken. Hope it helps.
