Tal Siach, a good friend of mine, and a respected social media power user, recently wrote a review of new Stumble Upon features (currently unavailable to most) on TechCrunch.
However, most users cannot currently access the features of the new version. There are no invites – users are selected by Stumble Upon. However, there is a work-around to get the new Stumble Upon features.
Join Stumbleupon Beta Group. Beta features will be enabled for you. Joining the group brings you a warning that features you see are undergoing development and may be unstable. To remove the features, leave the group.
Of course, die-hard users will still prefer the toolbar, but it is nice to take the new version for a spin. Thanks QOT.
And while you’re at it, why not add me as a friend on Stumble Upon?
