Thanks for suggesting PIXresizer, I’ll check it out. And yes, you already know what they’re used for – to resize images (mostly downsize) and convert images to different formats.

i use PIXresizer, but im not even sure what it all does :p i only use it to make smaller pics..

@JK: Thanks for suggesting VSO Resizer, it is new to me, I’ll certainly review it (and it will be useful for me when on Windows).

This is of not much use if it doesn’t support custom sizes and provides only 3 available size options.

I currently use “VSO Image resizer” for resizing and “XnView Shell Extension” for conversion (XnView has got some other features too).
