  If you are on linux, and the firefox that comes with the distro is slow, get the official version from firefox site and install it. Als je op Linux, en de Firefox die bij de distributie is traag, krijgt de officiële versie van Firefox site en installeren.

  This is a good article, I agree to your point that Firefox is not optimized and also it takes up lot of memory when you keep it open for long time.
