The official Mozilla Addons site no longer requires a user to log in before installing an experimental extension. Earlier, we would have advised users to use any of the accounts listed at Bugmenot website.
However, you can now go directly to an experimental addon (say, FindList) and install it. All you need to do is confirm in a check-box.

This was something that kept me away from trying the mostly-awesome addons.
Not anymore.
It’s a good point. I haven’t noticed that before since I never download any experimental add ons. Just for safety.
