URL shorteners are gaining popularity every day, for sharing links in email, IM, and most of all, Twitter. TinyURL is the most popular URL shortener, and dozens (hundreds?) of other services have come up.
The only annoyance with using URL shorteners is that you cannot see the site where you’re heading to. Nettique suggests to add the title of the linked page before or after the link, but it is rarely observed. Hence the need for a script that reveals / expands URLs.
TinyURL Decoder is a Greasemonkey script to show you the actual URLs. Note that unlike the title suggests, it supports most URL shortening services, not just Tiny URL. Currently, all major (popular) URL services like Digg, TinyURL, Bit.ly, Snipurl, Snurl, Ow.ly etc. are supported.
