Windows-only freeware Ares Tube downloads music and videos from popular sites (YouTube, DailyMotion, Metacafe) and converts them to MPEG (for use on your computer) or MP4 (for use on iPod). AresTube can also import the file to iTunes so that it will be transferred to your iPod during the next next synchronization.
If you are on Mac OS X, use Tooble instead.
Download videos from YouTube, Metacafe, Blip.tv to your iPod
Ares Tube has built-in browser to save movie files from YouTube, Google Video and Blip.tv to iPod compatible formats. Downloading videos is relatively easy – you can select videos and click “add to download list”. Once you finish adding to your list, you can download them all in one go.
Adding URLs is easy enough – you can also add them by browsing directly and copy-pasting URLs. Clicking on the Options brings up a small window with options for saving and conversion:
