Version 2.6 of free and open-source image editor, GIMP, has been released. GIMP is a free alternative to the proprietary Adobe Photoshop.
Changes in GIMP 2.6
GIMP 2.6 includes changes to user interface, tools and plugins. They have made important UI changes like removal of toolbox menubar, renamed menus, locked tabs, better Windows support, improved free select tool and code changes. View GIMP 2.6 release notes.
