One of those few things that annoy me to no end, is the constant popup messages from security center. It might not seem much, and some uses apparently like it, but I personally find it an irritant. This tutorial has been written in the hope that others will want to disable Vista security center popups too.

- Double click the security center icon (pictured above) to open it.
- Click “Change the way Security Center alerts me”. You will see a dialog with three choices.

Choose the last choice if you want to disable the security popups.
If you ever need to restore the popups, follow the steps above and choose “Yes, notify me and display the icon”.
