FeedBurner adopts Feed Redirection Plugin, now renamed FeedBurner FeedSmith

Howdy! It appears that you have come to this blog for the first time. In order to receive more useful posts like this, you can subscribe to RSS feed or receive latest articles to your email inbox. Thanks for visiting this blog, and have a good day.

FeedBurner FeedSmith is the newest weapon in FeedBurner’s arsenal of weapons(no, not the destructive type).

Probably the most popular feed-related plugin for WordPress users, FeedSmith is just the old Feed Redirection Plugin by Steve Smith, rechristened and rebranded as FeedSmith. From now on, FeedSmith will be maintained and updated by FeedBurner.

Feed Redirection plugin works by some PHP stuff and user-agent detection, to redirect all feed requests to the FeedBurner feed. It can even redirect your existing subscribers. Amazing, eh?

Apple has received scathing criticism in the past from environmental groups. Now, in a response to criticism, Apple has unveiled plans to make it greener than its competitors. Atleast that’s what Steve Jobs has in mind.

Apple’s plans include total elimination of arsenic, polyvinyl chloride and bromine-based flame retardants in its products.

OneDayBlogSilence : Proposes silence on April 30

“Silence can say more than a thousand words”

Thus begins the site OneDayBlogSilence. OneDayBlogSilenceIt proposes complete silence on May 30 in the blogosphere, in memory of those ~30 unfortunate souls who were shot dead by Cho Seung Hui at the Viriginia Tech college.

A creative idea by the site, no doubt. But many bloggers think differently. They voice their concerns that this incident alone should not be brought into focus. Some even say that honouring them alone is a disrespect towards their families.

Just an update on the condition of TechZilo…..Sob, sob!

Yep, the condition is not really that good….I have some positives, though. I uploaded tons of plugins(whether they will bog down the server is another matter.

I have taken out the links page, since they are already down in the sidebar.

In the next few days, I will get on with posting, and themes :) Yeah, I want to prove that it can be done at the same time by even a kid like me.
