Bookmarks can be used to store URLs of websites we visit often. Bladwijzers kunnen worden gebruikt voor het opslaan URL's van websites die wij vaak bezoeken. Instead of having to remember all the URLs, you simply have to click “Bookmark this page” or its equivalent in your browser. In plaats van alle URL's onthouden, hoeft u alleen te klikken "Bookmark deze pagina" of het equivalent daarvan in uw browser. All software are vulnerable to bugs and crashes – so, the chances of losing your bookmarks to a Firefox bug (more often caused by extensions) is high. Instead of worrying over the safety of your bookmarks, you can put in place a comprehensive bookmark backup strategy, which I will be detailing in this post. Backup bookmarks by exporting as HTML Backup bladwijzers door de uitvoer als HTML

To import all the bookmarks, click File -> Import and select the correct file. Te importeren alle bladwijzers, klikt u op File -> Import en selecteer het juiste bestand. If you need to restore the bookmarks to another computer, copy the HTML file to the other computer and proceed with the same steps. Backup bookmarks with Foxmarks Backup bladwijzers met Foxmarks
Foxmarks extension backs up your bookmarks online (you have to create an account at Foxmarks website). Foxmarks uitbreiding back-up van uw bladwijzers online (je moet een account aanmaken op Foxmarks website). You can see all the bookmarks at your Foxmarks account online even if you are away from home. U kunt zien dat alle bladwijzers op uw Foxmarks account online, zelfs als u weg bent van huis. Schedule bookmark backups with FEBE extension Schedule bookmark backups met FEBE extensie
FEBE is more than just an extension to backup bookmarks – it can backup cookies, settings, history and bookmarks. FEBE is meer dan alleen een uitbreiding van backup bookmarks - het kan backup cookies, instellingen, geschiedenis en bladwijzers.
Install FEBE Firefox extension Installeer FEBE Firefox extensie . . Click Tools -> FEBE -> Perform Backup for a backup. Klik op Tools -> FEBE -> Uitvoeren Backup voor een back-up. When you need to restore it, locate the backup files and click Restore -> Restore bookmarks. Wanneer u moet herstellen, zoekt u de back-upbestanden en klik op Herstellen -> Restore bladwijzers. For additional tweaks and options, go to Tools -> FEBE -> FEBE options. Voor extra tweaks en opties, ga naar Extra -> FEBE -> FEBE opties.
To schedule a bookmark backup, click Tools -> FEBE -> FEBE options, and click the “Schedule” tab. Om een bladwijzer back-up schema, klik op Extra -> FEBE -> FEBE opties, en klik op de "Schedule" tabblad. Set a time for backup – the time when you use the computer. So, there you have it – a comprehensive strategy to never loose your bookmarks again – particularly if you save lots of bookmarks. Zo, daar heb je het - een alomvattende strategie om nooit los je bladwijzers weer - vooral als u veel besparen bladwijzers. I personally use this because I save many pages suitable for post content (particularly list posts)- which I cannot afford to loose. Persoonlijk gebruik ik dit omdat ik veel pagina's redden geschikt voor post-inhoud (met name de lijst posten) - die ik niet kan veroorloven om te verliezen.

I don't usually use bookmarks.. Ik gebruik meestal niet bladwijzers .. I prefer to save the links in Google docs file.. Ik geef de voorkeur aan de links in Google Docs save file .. funny right!! funny rechts!
