About
Welcome to TechZilo, a weblog that focuses on software (reviews and tips), productivity, web applications and services, and occasional blogging tips and WordPress plugin recommendations/reviews.
The short version
Founded in April 2007, TechZilo has taken the highway to growth since late December 2007, when the site hit Digg for the first time. Subsequently popular on Del.icio.us, Stumble Upon and linked to from Lifehacker, the traffic and feed subscription numbers exploded. Read through our resource posts, tutorials and other selected posts.

The long version
The author and founder of TechZilo is Sumesh, who was fascinated by computer software and hardware since 2003. The internet-mania caught him in 2005. The blogging-bug bit him quite late, in 2006 when he came across Digital Inspiration, a BlogSpot(now moved to WordPress) blog by his countryman Amit Agarwal.
He started a BlogSpot blog in February 2006, but soon got bored of the default templates. He learned XHTML and CSS for customizing it. This was the geek-turn for him, as he explored the world of technology beyond just the consumer’s point of view.
He came across WordPress quite late, in late 2006, and moved his blog over to WordPress in April 2007. This was quite late, and now, he is racing against time to catch up with other blogs in his niche.
Read more about him on SumPr.com, his personal website.
